EDMONTON MINERS ANNOUNCE THEIR 2006 CONDITIONING CAMP

It seems like only a couple of weeks have passed since the final whistle of the Minto Cup but we are excited about next year and ready to get started. 2005 was a very successful year for lacrosse in Alberta and we hope to build on that success. It all begins in the New Year as we will once again have our winter conditioning camp. This camp is open to all graduating midgets and older players no matter where you expect to play this year. It is designed to give all of you players who want to get ready for the upcoming season with some conditioning and stick skills.

We go each Monday night starting January 9th, 2006 and go from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the Kinsmen Fieldhouse for 11 sessions. The first hour is devoted to conditioning with our conditioning coach Jay Dalcourt. The second hour we work on stick skills and scrimmage.

The cost will be $75 but may very depending on the turn out of players. As has been the case in the past, goalies are not required to pay. The Edmonton Miners run this program on a breakeven basis.

If you are interested in participating then please send your confirmation to ajomha1@telus.net and we will put you on the list. In the past we have filled the program so we recommend that you confirm early.
